Happy Christmas to you - and a good New Year

Ni a wra dybri podin Nadelik wosa
li a-vorow. Bryntin!

We’ll eat Christmas pudding after
lunch tomorrow. Brilliant!

My a wra difuna a-varr dhe Dhydh Nadelik
rag ygeri ow rohow.

I’m going to wake early on Christmas Day
to open my presents.

​Ny vynnav vy mos dhe weli a-varr
dhe Nos Nadelik.

I don’t want to go to bed early
on Christmas night.
Yma meur a gelyn y’n esedhva hedhyw
- ha gwedhen Nadelik teg ynwedh.

There’s a lot of holly in the living room today
- and a beautiful Christmas tree too.

A yllowgh hwi dybri genen dhe beswora
warn ugens mis Kevardhu?

Can you eat with us on the 24th December?

Mother bought an enormous turkey
at the butcher’s the day before yesterday.

In the school Christmas play, the baby is a doll.
It’s in a manger.

​Tri Myghtern a wrug dos dhe wordhya an
babi yn mis Genver. I a wrug sewya an steren.

Three Kings came to worship the
baby in January. They followed the star.
